This topic describes how to create various ticket types in DMS, such as for data changes, schema changes, and data exports. It also covers how to close tickets and view their details.
Notes
You cannot delete tickets once created in DMS.
Create tickets
Log in to DMS 5.0.

Hover over the
icon in the upper-left corner, select All Features, and then click the desired feature.NoteIf you are using the standard console, you can click Database Development in the top navigation bar and select the desired feature.

(Optional) To create a ticket for schema design, SQL review, a database clone, test data generation, or data tracking, click the corresponding feature button in the upper-right corner.
For example, the feature button for schema design is + Schema Design.

On the ticket configuration page, create the ticket.

Modify ticket information

On the DMS homepage, click My Tickets.

Find the target ticket in the ticket list, click its ticket number, and then modify the ticket information on the details page.

Before you submit the ticket, you can modify its information on the configuration page.

After you submit the ticket, you can modify the SQL statement only if the precheck fails. You cannot modify any other ticket information.

Close tickets
Closing a ticket terminates any associated tasks that are in progress or scheduled to run.

On the DMS homepage, click My Tickets.

Filter the list by ticket status and type.
The ticket type drop-down list includes the following options: All Tickets, Permission Request, Data Change, Data Export, Schema Design, Schema Synchronization, Data Tracking, SQL Review, and Sensitive Column Change. You can filter tickets by status: All, In Progress, or Closed.

Click the ticket number, click Close Ticket in the upper-right corner, enter a reason, and then click OK.
View ticket details

On the DMS homepage, click My Tickets.
