    Data Management:Export instance configurations

    You can export the configuration information of some or all database instances from the Data Management Service (DMS) console to manage the instances offline.

    Prerequisites

    You are a database administrator (DBA) or a DMS administrator.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the DMS console.

    2. In the top navigation bar, click Data Assets. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances.

      Note

      If you use the DMS console in simple mode, move the pointer over the 2022-10-21_15-25-22.png icon in the upper-left corner of the DMS console and choose All functions > Data Assets > Instances.

    3. On the Instance List tab, select the target instances.

    4. Click More > Export config.

      After you complete the preceding operations, the browser starts to download a CSV file named instances.

      Note

      • You can use Excel or a text editor to view this file.

      • For security reasons, the instance configuration file that you download does not contain the logon accounts and passwords of the databases in the instance.
