The Alibaba Cloud Dynamic Route for CDN (DCDN) console allows you to configure and manage domain names. It also provides resource monitoring for real-time data analytics. The DCDN console also displays the billing status and allows you to change the billing method. This topic describes the DCDN console and the domain management features.
Note To help you understand and obtain up-to-date information about DCDN, this topic divides
the features in the DCDN console into domain management and service management based
on your business requirements.
Domain management features
Feature | Reference | Description | Default setting |
---|---|---|---|
Batch copying | Copy configurations to domain names | Copies one or more specific configurations of an accelerated domain name to another one or more accelerated domain names. | None |
Basic settings | Change the accelerated region | Modifies the accelerated region. | None |
Configure an origin server | Modifies the origin information. | None | |
Back-to-origin settings | Configure an origin host | Modifies the domain name of the origin host. | Disabled |
Configure the static origin protocol policy | Enables DCDN to communicate with the origin based on the specified origin protocol policy. Ensure that the protocol used by back-to-origin requests is the same as that used by clients to access resources. | Disabled | |
Configure private bucket origin | Grants DCDN permissions to access the specified private Object Storage Service (OSS) bucket that serves as the origin server. | Disabled | |
Configure origin SNI | Allows you to set a Server Name Indication (SNI) value to specify the requested domain name when DCDN communicates with the origin server over HTTPS. You must enable this feature if the IP address of the origin server is associated with multiple domain names. | Disabled | |
Configure range origin fetch | Enables DCDN to retrieve content from the origin server based on HTTP range requests. This reduces the back-to-origin data usage and shortens the resource response time. | Disabled | |
Configure a custom origin HTTP header | Adds or removes HTTP headers when HTTP requests are redirected to origin servers. | Disabled | |
Dynamic acceleration rules | Specify static file paths | Specifies the paths of the static files. | Disabled |
Configure static file types | Specifies the file extensions of the static files. | Disabled | |
Specify static file URIs | Specifies the URIs of the static files. | Disabled | |
Configure back-to-origin requests to retrieve dynamic content | Ensures that the protocol used to retrieve dynamic content is the same as that used by clients to access resources. | Disabled | |
Cache settings | Add a cache rule for resources | Customizes cache expiration rules for specific resources. | None |
Configure a custom HTTP response header | Allows you to customize 10 HTTP response headers. | None | |
Create a custom error page | Customizes complete URLs to which requests are redirected based on the HTTP or HTTPS status code. | 404 | |
Create a URI rewrite rule | Modifies request URIs and redirects them to the specified URIs based on the 302 status code. | None | |
HTTPS settings | Configure an SSL certificate | Provides an end-to-end HTTPS secure acceleration solution. You can enable the secure acceleration mode and upload an SSL certificate and the private key for an accelerated domain name. This feature also allows you to view, disable, enable, or modify the certificate. | Disabled |
Enable HTTP/2 | Enables the binary protocol HTTP/2 to provide multiple benefits including scalability, security, multiplexing, and header compression. | Disabled | |
Configure OCSP stapling | OCSP stapling allows DCDN servers to retrieve OCSP details. This reduces the latency when clients send requests to validate digital certificates and minimizes the time that is consumed by clients to receive the validation responses. | Disabled | |
Configure force redirect | Redirects requests from clients to L1 nodes as HTTP or HTTPS requests. | Disabled | |
Configure TLS version control | Enables a TLS protocol version for an accelerated domain name to enable TLS handshakes. TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, TLS 1.2, and TLS 1.3 are supported. | Disabled | |
Configure HSTS | Configures HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to allow clients such as browsers to use only HTTPS to connect to the server. | Disabled | |
Access control | Configure a referer whitelist or blacklist to enable hotlink protection | Allows you to configure a referer blacklist or whitelist to authenticate and authorize visitors. | Disabled |
Configure URL authentication | Configures URL authentication to prevent unauthorized downloads of resources on the origin server. | Disabled | |
Configure an IP blacklist or whitelist | Allows you to configure an IP blacklist or whitelist to authenticate and filter visitors. | Disabled | |
Configure a User-Agent blacklist or whitelist | Allows you to configure a User-Agent blacklist or whitelist to authenticate and filter visitors. | Disabled | |
Optimization | Configure HTML optimization | Compresses and removes HTML redundant content, such as space characters and carriage return characters, to reduce the file size. | Disabled |
Configure intelligent compression | Intelligently compresses multiple formats of content to reduce the size of transmitted content. | Disabled | |
Configure Brotli compression | Enables the Brotli compression feature to reduce the size of the transmitted content and accelerate delivery. | Disabled | |
Configure parameter filtering | Specifies whether DCDN retains the parameters when a question mark (? ) is followed by the parameters in the URL of a back-to-origin request.
|
Disabled | |
Configure video seeking | Allows you to seek through video or audio without affecting the playback quality. | Disabled | |
Security Settings | WAF protection (old edition) | DCDN is integrated with Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect your websites from vulnerabilities and attacks such as SQL injection, webshells, and cross-site scripting (XSS). | Disabled |
Configure bot traffic management | To prevent your business from malicious traffic or crawlers, DCDN provides the bot traffic management feature. This feature is integrated with AI intelligent protection and uses information such as authorized crawlers and threat intelligence to identify and block malicious requests. | Disabled | |
Configure DDoS mitigation | DCDN integrates Anti-DDoS to protect accelerated domain names from distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. | Disabled | |
Configure rate limiting | If the response time of your website is increased due to HTTP flood attacks, you can enable the rate limiting feature and use default or custom rules to block requests that are sent to your website. | Disabled | |
Configure a region blacklist or whitelist | DCDN allows you to block malicious requests that are frequently initiated from specific regions. | Disabled | |
Configure precise access control | Precise Access Control uses common HTTP fields (such as IP, URL, and Header) to set conditions to filter user requests and perform the configured action on matching requests to satisfy the customized protection needs of business scenarios. | Disabled | |
Advanced Settings | Configure IPv6 | After you enable IPv6 in the console, IPv6 clients can send IPv6 requests to DCDN. DCDN can include the IPv6 information of the clients in back-to-origin requests. | Disabled |
Websocket | Configure WebSocket | Enables WebSocket to reduce server resource and bandwidth usage and facilitate real-time communication. | Disabled |
