Data albums let you group and organize data tables from a business perspective, so you can find them quickly without searching the full Data Map.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
A DataWorks workspace running DataWorks Professional Edition or later. For details, see Feature details by DataWorks edition.
Access to Data Map.
Go to the Data Album page
Log on to the DataWorks console. In the top navigation bar, select the desired region. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Governance > Data Map. On the page that appears, click Go to Data Map.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Album.
Create a data album
On the Data Album page, click Create Collection.
In the Create Collection dialog box, configure the following parameters.

Album Name
A custom name for the album. The name must be unique within each region of a tenant.
Visible Scope
Public: The album is visible to all users. Private: The album is visible only to its creator and administrators. To grant view access to other users, assign them the administrator role. See Manage data albums.

Edit a data album
Set categories
On the details page of the target album, click the Objects tab. Right-click a category in the directory list, then choose one of the following actions:
Create subcategory: In the Create Subcategory dialog box, select a Destination Directory and enter a Category Name. You can nest up to four levels of subcategories.
Rename: In the Rename dialog box, enter a new Category Name.
Add data tables
Use either method to add tables to an album.
Method 1: Add from the album details page
On the details page of the target album, click the Objects tab and select the target category from the directory list.
In the target category, click Add Table.
In the Add Table dialog box, filter tables by Add by Search or Recently Viewed, then add them to the album.
Method 2: Add from the table details page
In the table search results, click a table name. At the top of the table details page, click Add To Album/View Added Album.

In the Add To Album dialog box, select the target album and confirm.
Manage data albums
Modify administrators
A data album supports a maximum of five administrators.
On the details page of the target album, click the
icon next to Administrator.In the Edit Collection Administrator dialog box, enter the Alibaba Cloud account of the new Administrator.
Remove data tables
On the details page of the target album, click the Object List tab and select the target category from the directory list.
In the Actions column, click More > Remove From Collection.
Follow or like an album
On the details page of the target album, click Follow or Like to the right of the album name.
To find albums you have followed, click Albums Followed on the Data Map homepage, or click Followed on the Data Album page.
Delete a data album
Only the creator and administrators of a data album can delete it.
On the Data Album page, find the target album and click Delete in the Actions column.
