Before you create a project space for data development, you must configure the compute engine for your Dataphin instance. After you configure the compute engine, you can add the corresponding compute source to a project space to provide compute and storage resources.
Limitations
If you set the instance's compute engine to Aliyun E-MapReduce Serverless Spark, you can use only Aliyun E-MapReduce Serverless Spark as a compute source.
Procedure
The metastore does not require initialization. You can create a tenant and then configure its compute settings.
In the top navigation bar of the Dataphin homepage, choose Management Center > System Settings.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Tenant Settings > Compute Settings.
On the Compute Settings page, select Aliyun EMR Serverless Spark.
Click Save.
