Dataphin:Real-time mode runtime parameter configuration

Last Updated:Jan 21, 2025

Configuring runtime parameters is crucial for the execution and performance of real-time tasks, such as setting the memory size for the JobManager process or the timeout for TaskManager slots. This topic provides guidance on configuring runtime parameters for tasks in real-time mode.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the real-time mode configuration entry to access the Real-time Mode configuration page.

  2. In the Runtime Parameter section of the configuration panel, set the Runtime Parameter details for your real-time mode tasks.

The procedure for configuring runtime parameters is consistent across various compute engines. Below is an illustration depicting the configuration process using the Ververica Flink compute engine as an example.

    Important
    • The FusionInsight engine supports only the system's default parameters and does not allow for custom parameter configuration.

    • Runtime parameter configurations for checkpoints and state are derived from Dataphin's Checkpoint Configuration and State Configuration settings. For more information, see:

    • To apply the same node-specific parameters across all compute tasks within your project, you can set up a global configuration during the project creation process. For more information, see create a general project or .

  3. Click OK to save your runtime parameter configurations for real-time mode.
