Groups are used to classify and manage service units and APIs. You must create a group before you can create or call an API. This topic describes how to create groups for service units and APIs.
Prerequisites
A service project has been created. For more information, see Create a service project.
Limits
Super administrators, system administrators, and service project administrators can create and manage groups.
Create a group
On the Dataphin home page, click Service > Service Management in the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Project Management. Select the target service project and click the Group Management icon in the Actions column.
In the Group Management dialog box, click the Service Unit tab, and then click the Add Group button. Enter a name of up to 64 characters and click OK. The procedure to create an API group is the same as that for a service unit group.
