Dataphin:Offline tags

Last Updated:Jan 19, 2026

After you create an offline dataset or define a behavioral relationship, you can create corresponding offline tags. These tags are used to create asset applications, such as tag services and profile services.

Function overview

You can create offline tags as needed. The creation process varies based on the tag processing method. The following table describes the methods.

Creation method

Description

Create metric mapping tags

The output metrics of an offline tag are used directly as a tag.

Create behavioral preference tags

Configure preference rules using a visual interface. The results from processing behavioral data are then used as tag values.

Create behavioral statistics tags

Configure statistical rules using a visual interface. The statistical results of behavior properties are then used as tag values.

Create rule combination tags

Configure rules using a visual interface. The results from combining behavioral data and offline tags are then used as tag values.

Accessing the offline tag page

  1. On the Dataphin home page, from the top menu bar, choose Tag > Tag Workbench.

  2. From the top menu bar, choose Project.

  3. In the left navigation pane, choose Tag Processing > Offline Tag.

Offline tag page overview

The offline tag page is divided into the Tags in Project and Requested Tags tabs. The Tags in Project tab consists of a search and filter area, a list of offline tags, and a batch operations area. On this tab, you can perform operations on offline tags, such as Publish, Listing, Delisting, and Delete. The Requested Tags tab consists of a search and filter area, a list of requested tags, and a batch operations area. On this tab, you can manage the tags that you have requested for the current project, including removing tags and viewing tag details. For more information, see Manage tags.
