This topic explains how to add a gateway node in the Database Gateway console.
Procedure
- Log in to the Database Gateway console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Gateway List.
- In the Operation column of the target gateway, click Detail.
- On the Gateway details page, click Add gateway node. In the dialog box that appears, choose a download method based on your operating system. For Windows, click Download gateway. For other operating systems, copy the command line and run it on your machine. To connect through an Alibaba Cloud VPC internal address, select the Access through Alibaba Cloud VPC internal address option. This method is for self-managed databases on ECS instances or connections that use Express Connect, Cloud Enterprise Network, or VPN Gateway. After the command runs, the dialog box displays the updated number of gateway nodes. Wait for the new gateway node to be added, then click Finish.
