Each time DBS performs a backup, a backup set is generated. This topic describes how to manually delete a backup set.

The backup schedule must contain more than three full backup sets. Otherwise, no backup sets cannot be deleted.

  • You can only delete a single backup set at a time. The batch delete operation is not supported. If you delete backup sets, You cannot recover backup sets after you delete them. Proceed with caution.
  • Incremental backup sets cannot be deleted.
  • To ensure the continuity of the restored data, you can delete only the earliest backup set in an operation.
