Problem description
When Alibaba Cloud Data Transmission Service Service DTS checks whether the account permissions of the source database meet the migration requirements during data migration, the "Source Database Permission Check" check item fails to be prechecked.
Cause
The database account of the source database does not have sufficient permissions to perform data migration tasks.
Solution
To ensure the smooth execution of the data migration task, DTS checks the permissions of the source database account configured in the data migration task during the precheck. This ensures that the account has sufficient permissions to perform the data migration task. Permissions are required for different types of databases and data migration types. For more information, see Overview of migration solutions. If the Migration Failed message appears during schema migration or full data migration, you can use the online fix feature of DTS to manually fix the task.
