After you configure a data integration task, you can stop, resume, or delete the task.

The following table describes the operations that you can perform and the impact of each operation.
Operation | Impact |
---|---|
Stop Task | The status of the data integration task changes to Paused. The scheduling stops.
Note After you pause a data integration task, you can resume the task if necessary. |
Resume Task | The status of the data integration task changes to Running or Ready. The scheduling resumes. DTS generates a data migration task based on the scheduled time. |
Delete Task | The status of the data integration task changes to Deleted. The task is no longer scheduled.
Warning After you delete a data integration task, you can no longer resume the task. Perform this operation with caution. |
Procedure
- Log on to the DTS console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Integration.
- At the top of the page that appears, select the region where the destination instance resides.
- Find the data integration task and click the instance ID.
- Find the data integration task and click Stop Task.
- In the message that appears, click OK.
- You can resume or delete a data integration task that is in the Paused state.
- To resume a data integration task, click Resume Task. In the message that appears, click OK.
- To delete a data integration task, click Delete Task. In the message that appears, click OK.
