To improve user experience and reduce operational costs, Data Management (DMS) allows you to share the SQLConsole tab of a database instance or a ticket with other users by generating a share link. This topic describes how to enable the sharing feature. This topic also describes how to set the parameters for sharing the SQLConsole tab of a database instance or a ticket with other users.

Background information

You can use a share link to enjoy the following benefits:
  • Share the SQLConsole tab of a database instance with a new employee to help the employee get familiar with the business. The SQLConsole tab includes the SQL statements that you entered.
  • Share historical tickets with a security administrator for auditing.
  • Share historical data change tickets with a new employee who wants to obtain the historical change records of relevant database instances.

Only DMS users are allowed to use a share link. To view the users who have permissions to use this feature, perform the following operations: Log on to the DMS console. In the top navigation bar, click O&M. In the left-side navigation pane, click Users.
