After you configure or modify a task flow, you must publish the latest task flow. This prevents the modified task flow from being published before the modifications to the task flow are confirmed.

Publish a task flow

  1. Log on to the DMS console V5.0.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click DTS. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Development > Task Orchestration.
  3. Click the name of a task flow that you want to manage to go to the task flow editing tab.
  4. Optional:Test the running of the task flow.
    1. In the upper-left corner of the canvas, click Try Run.
      To test the running of the task flow, you can also click the xiala-intl icon to the right side of Try Run and select one of the following options: Dry Run, Run at a Specific Point in Time, and Run at a Specific Time Range.
    2. In the Alert message, click OK.
    3. In the lower part of the canvas, click the Execution Logs tab and check whether the task flow is successfully run.
      • If status SUCCEEDED appears in the last line of the logs, the task flow is successfully run.
      • If status FAILED appears in the last line of the logs, the task flow fails to be run.
        Note If the task flow fails to be run, view the node on which the failure occurs and the reason for the failure in the execution logs. Then, modify the configuration of the node and try again.
  5. Publish the task flow.
    1. In the upper-left corner of the canvas, click Publish.
    2. In the Publish dialog box, set the Remarks parameter and click Publish.
  6. View the status of the task flow.
    1. In the upper-right corner of the canvas, click Go to O&M.
    2. On the right side of the page, check whether the task flow is published.
      • Published: The task flow is published.
      • Not published: The task flow is not published.

Unpublish a task flow

You can unpublish or delete a task flow if it is no longer required.

  1. Log on to the DMS console V5.0.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click DTS. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Development > Task Orchestration.
  3. Click the name of a task flow that you want to manage to go to the task flow editing tab.
  4. Unpublish a task flow.
    1. In the upper-left corner of the canvas, click Unpublish.
    2. In the message that appears, click Unpublish.
