Database Autonomy Service (DAS) allows you to query the performance statistics of an ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server instance, view the performance statistics in histograms, and update the performance statistics at the earliest opportunity. This helps you view the status of the instance.
Usage note
The RDS instance that runs SQL Server 2008 R2 with standard SSDs or enhanced SSDs (ESSDs) is not supported.
Procedure
Log on to the DAS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Instance Monitoring.
On the page that appears, find the database instance that you want to manage and click the instance ID. The instance details page appears.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Performance Optimization. On the page that appears, click the Statistics tab.
On the Statistics tab, view the performance statistics of the ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server instance.
In the Statistics Overview section, an overview of the performance statistics is displayed.
Click Update Statistics. In the message that appears, click OK. The system asynchronously updates the performance statistics of the ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server instance at the backend.
Click Recollect. In the message that appears, click OK. The system asynchronously collects the data of the ApsaraDB RDS for SQL Server instance again. After a few minutes, you can refresh the page to view the updated data.
Click Save as PDF File to save the data on the page to your computer as a PDF file.
In the Statistics Not Updated section, the statistics that are not updated are displayed in histograms.
Click Custom Search. In the dialog box that appears, configure the filter conditions and click Submit to query the statistics.
