    Overview

    Subscription Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) supports one refund type: Partial Refund.

    Refund rules and limitations

    Before you unsubscribe, read the refund rules and limitations. For more information, see Unsubscription rules for Alibaba Cloud International.

    Refunds

    • For pay-as-you-go Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) instances, billing stops when you delete the instance. For more information, see Delete a file gateway and Delete an iSCSI gateway.

      Note

      Incurred charges are non-refundable.

    • You can unsubscribe from unexpired subscription Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) instances and request a refund.

    Unsubscribe from cache disks or gateway instances

    Important

    • Cloud Storage Gateway (CSG) instance

      • After data synchronization is complete, unmount all clients connected to the shares on the gateway and delete all shares on the gateway.

      • You must unsubscribe from all subscription cache disk instances attached to the gateway before you can unsubscribe from the CSG instance.

    • Cache disk instance

      Before you unsubscribe from a subscription cache disk instance, make sure all data is synchronized to your OSS bucket. Then, unmount the clients connected to the share, delete the share, and unsubscribe from the cache disk instance.

    1. To request an unsubscription, go to the Expenses and Costs console and open the Unsubscribe page.

    2. Type: Select Partial Refund.

    3. In the Instance ID search box, enter the cache disk ID or gateway instance ID, and then click Unsubscribe Resource.

      Note

      • You can find the cache disk instance ID on the Caches tab on the gateway details page.

      • When you unsubscribe from a gateway instance, attached cache disks with the same expiration date as the gateway instance are also unsubscribed. You must first unsubscribe from cache disks that have a different expiration date.

    4. On the Unsubscribe Resource page, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the unsubscription and refund.

    5. After you submit the unsubscription request, you can click Orders to view its status.

      Note
