Cloud Parallel File Storage:Delete a CPFS file system

This topic describes how to delete a Cloud Parallel File Storage (CPFS) file system that you no longer use to reduce costs.

Warning

After you delete a CPFS file system, the data stored in the file system is deleted and cannot be recovered. We recommend that you perform this operation with caution.

  1. Log on to the NAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose File System > File System List.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  4. Find the CPFS file system that you want to delete, click the 3 icon in the Actions column, and then select Delete.

  5. In the Delete File System dialog box, check the name of the file system that you want to delete and click OK.

    Note
    • The default permission group cannot be modified or deleted.

    • After a CPFS file system is deleted, you are not charged for the CPFS file system in the next billing cycle.
