This topic describes the refund policy of Cloud Parallel File Storage (CPFS) resources.

Overview

The following table describes the refund policy and refund method for each billing method.

Pay-as-you-go	Pay-as-you-go CPFS resources are billed only after they are used. Therefore, refunds are not involved. If you no longer use pay-as-you-go CPFS resources, you can release the CPFS resources. Before you release the resources, you must back up or migrate data from the CPFS file system and make sure that the release operation does not affect your business. After resources are released, you are no longer charged for the resources. Warning

If you delete a pay-as-you-go CPFS file system, the file system is released. After the CPFS file system is released, if requests are still initiated to access the CPFS file system, the CPFS file system cannot be properly accessed. Therefore, before you delete a pay-as-you-go CPFS file system, you must back up or migrate the data of the file system.

Refund flow

Note

Only payments made with cash or stored-value cards are eligible for a refund. Amounts paid with vouchers or coupons are non-refundable.

For orders that are paid on or after March 29, 2019, if you request a refund within 18 months or 548 days since payment is made, the refund is returned to the original payment account. For example, if you paid orders by using an Alipay account or an online bank account, the refund is returned to the Alipay account or online bank account that you used to pay the orders. Similarly, if you paid the orders by using your Alibaba Cloud account balance, the refund is returned to your Alibaba Cloud account.
Important
If the order for which you request a refund has been invoiced, the refund is returned to your Alibaba Cloud account balance. You can return the invoice and then withdraw the money from your Alibaba Cloud account to your original payment account.
For orders that are paid by using other methods, the refund is returned to your Alibaba Cloud account. If your original payment account rejects the transaction, the refund is returned to your Alibaba Cloud account.
The refund is returned within two business days after you unsubscribe from a service. CPFS refunds the remaining amount of the subscription and stored-value cards to the original payment account. The amount of coupons or vouchers is nonrefundable.
For orders that are paid by using an online bank account and can be refunded to the original payment account, the refund is returned within two to three business days based on the processing time of banks.
