Payment Overdue Alert

The system calculates the average payable amount over the last 7 hours and checks whether your account balance can cover fees for the next three billing cycles. If your balance is insufficient, the system sends a notification by text message or email.

Important

Overdue payments can lead to service suspension. Add funds promptly to prevent service disruptions.

Add funds

Overdue

  • After your Alibaba Cloud account becomes overdue, all pay-as-you-go instances in the account enter the Overdue state. The system sends a daily reminder by text message.

  • If you add funds within 15 days after the payment becomes overdue, your service is not suspended.

  • If the payment remains overdue for more than 15 days, Alibaba Cloud suspends the General-purpose Edition CPFS service. Data stored in your file system is retained, but no new fees are generated.

  • If you add funds within 15 days after the service is suspended, the General-purpose Edition CPFS service resumes automatically.

Add funds

  • If you do not add funds within 15 days after the service is suspended, Alibaba Cloud considers that you have voluntarily given up the service. Alibaba Cloud then releases your instance and permanently deletes all data. The data cannot be recovered.
