Procedure

Payment Overdue Alert

The system checks whether your account balance is sufficient to pay the relevant fees in the next three billing cycles based on the average payable amount during the last 7 hours. If you do not have a sufficient balance in your Alibaba Cloud account, the system notifies you by text message or email.

Important

An overdue payment can lead to service suspension. To prevent service disruptions, the system sends renewal reminders so that you can renew your services on time.

Add funds

Overdue

  • If your Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment, all pay-as-you-go instances in the account enter the Overdue state. During this period, you receive a reminder by text message every day.

  • If you add funds to pay the overdue amount within 15 days after the payment becomes overdue, your service is not suspended.

  • If the payment is overdue for more than 15 days, Alibaba Cloud stops the General-purpose Edition CPFS service. Only the data stored in your General-purpose Edition CPFS file system is retained. No new fees are generated after the service is stopped.

  • If you add funds to pay the overdue amount within 15 days after the service is stopped, the General-purpose Edition CPFS service automatically resumes.

Add funds

  • If you do not pay the overdue amount within 15 days after the service is stopped, you are considered to have voluntarily given up the General-purpose Edition CPFS service. After 15 days, Alibaba Cloud stops the General-purpose Edition CPFS service and releases your instance. After the instance is released, the data cannot be recovered.

Cannot be recovered
