Storage fees are incurred as soon as you create a CPFS file system. The fees are based on the file system specifications, configured capacity, and usage duration. These fees apply regardless of whether the file system is mounted, accessed, or has data written to it. If you also enable the Protocol Service and Data Flow features, you are also charged for bandwidth.
This topic describes only the billable items and billing methods. For more information about the pricing of CPFS billable items, see CPFS Pricing.
The following items are billed hourly. Bills are typically generated after the current billing cycle ends. The actual billing time is determined by the system.
Billable items
Basic fees
Billable item | Billable item code | Billing rule | Free quota |
CPFS configured capacity | size | Billed based on the configured capacity and usage duration. Fee for CPFS configured capacity = Configured capacity of the CPFS file system (GiB) × Monthly unit price / 30 (days) / 24 (hours) | Not applicable |
Value-added fees
These fees are incurred when you enable and use the Protocol Service and CPFS Data Flow features of a General-purpose CPFS file system.
Billable item | Billable item Code | Billing rule | Free quota |
Data Flow bandwidth | dataflowthroughput | Billed based on the configured bandwidth and usage duration. Data Flow bandwidth fee = (Maximum hourly configured bandwidth - Storage capacity of the CPFS file system / 1,200 GiB × 50 MB/s) × Hourly unit price for Data Flow bandwidth | For every 1,200 GiB of storage capacity, a 50 MB/s Data Flow bandwidth fee is waived. |
Protocol Service bandwidth | protocolthroughput | Billed based on the configured internal bandwidth and usage duration. Protocol Service bandwidth fee = Configured internal bandwidth × Hourly unit price for internal bandwidth |

Billing method
Only the pay-as-you-go billing method is supported.
