After Content Moderation API calls return results, those results appear in the Content Moderation console for human review. Reviewing flagged content refines the moderation model: once you mark a result, the API uses your decision for the same content going forward, and reviewed items are added to the corresponding sample libraries automatically.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Access to the Content Moderation console
Content Moderation API calls that have returned moderation results
Constraints
By default, the Audit page shows only results with a machine-assisted moderation status of review or block. To include pass results on the Audit page, update your moderation policy settings. For details, see Customize policies for machine-assisted moderation.
Human review supports images, videos, and text. Only reviewed images and text are automatically added to sample libraries — videos are not.
During human review, you can review images, videos, and text. Only the images and text that you review can be automatically added to sample libraries.
The console retains machine-assisted moderation results for up to seven days. Review result data promptly to avoid data expiry.
Review moderation results
Log on to the Content Moderation console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Machine Moderation V1.0 > Audit.
On the Audit page, click the Image, Video, or Text tab based on the type of content to review.
Review individual items or process multiple items at once:
To approve content flagged as review or block that you consider normal, click Pass.
To block content flagged as review or pass that you consider a violation, click Block, then select a category — Porn, Terrorism, Ad, or Undesirable Scene — in the dialog box that appears.

To review multiple items at once, select the items and click Batch Mark Pass or Batch Mark Block.
To view the details of a specific item, click it.

Note: The steps below use image review as an example. The process is the same for videos and text.

After you submit a review decision, the moderation result for the reviewed image and similar images is updated to match your decision. Images with updated results are added to the corresponding sample libraries.
On the Audit page, click the Image, Video, or Text tab based on the type of data to be reviewed. The corresponding review tab appears.
