This topic describes how to create two types of hosted Operations and Maintenance (O&M) service instances as a customer.
Create a hosted O&M service instance with private service
Open the deployment URL of the hosted O&M service with private service.
Configure the service instance.
Click Next: Confirm Order. On the confirmation page, verify the service instance information and agree to attach the required policy to the service provider in the Permissions section. Click Create now.
Create a hosted O&M service instance
Open the deployment URL of the hosted O&M service.
Configure the service instance on the service creation page.
Enter a name in the Service Instance Name field.
In the O&M Settings section, select an O&M object and configure the required parameters.
If you set O&M Object to Alibaba Cloud Resources, you must configure the Region, Cloud Resource Type, and O&M Window Period parameters.
If you set O&M Object to Compute Nest Service Instance, specify the service instance and the time period for O&M operations.
In the Tags and Resource Groups section, specify the resource group and tags for the service instance.
Agree to attach the required policy to the service provider for hosted O&M.
Click Create Now.
What to do next
After you create a hosted O&M service instance, the service provider can perform O&M operations on the specified resources within the defined maintenance window. You can view the service instance details and monitor O&M operations in the Compute Nest console.
