When an alert rule is triggered, Cloud Monitor 2.0 sends alert notifications to specified contacts by phone, text message, or email.
Procedure
Log on to the Cloud Monitor 2.0 console.
In the left navigation pane, click Alert Center. Alternatively, choose .
On the Alert Center page, choose .
Contacts
Create a contact
On the Contacts tab, click Create Contact.
In the Create Contact dialog box, configure the following parameters:
Name: Enter a contact name, which does not need to be unique.
Identifier: Enter a unique identifier for the contact.
Language: Select Chinese or English as the language for alert notifications.
Phone: Enter the mobile number to which alert notifications are sent.
Email: Enter the email address to which alert notifications are sent.
Then, click OK.
Wait until you receive an activation link on the mobile number and email address, and click the link to complete the authentication.
Manage contacts
On the Contacts tab, you can perform the following actions on the contacts:
Search: Enter a keyword from the contact's name in the search box and click the
icon.Edit: Click Edit in the Actions column. In the dialog box that appears, modify the contact information and click OK.
Delete: Click Delete in the Actions column of a contact. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
Batch delete: Select the contacts that you want to delete, click Delete below the list. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
Contact groups
Create a contact group
On the Contacts tab, click Contact Groups.
In the left navigation pane, click Create Contact Group.
In the Create Contact Group dialog box, configure the following parameters:
Name: Enter a contact group name.
Identifier: Enter a unique identifier for the contact group.
Contacts: Select the contacts to add to the contact group.
Then, click OK.
Manage contact groups
After creating a contact group, go to the Contacts tab and click Contact Group List. Then, you can perform the following actions on the contact groups:
Search: Enter a keyword from the contact group's name in the search box and click the
icon.Edit or delete: Click Edit or Delete in the Actions column.
To prevent notification failures, first remove a contact or contact group from all associated notification policies before deleting.
You can delete only the contacts and contact groups that you created.
