Monitoring governance evaluates your resources and configurations and provides solutions to build a complete monitoring system. Use Automatic Governance to fix all issues at once, or resolve them individually.
Enable monitoring governance
When you first use monitoring governance, click Evaluate Now to evaluate your resources and configurations.

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Overview.

On the Overview page, click the Monitoring Governance tab.

Click Evaluate Now.
View evaluation results and governance solutions
After the evaluation completes, review the results and apply the governance solution for each item.

On the Monitoring Governance tab, view the evaluation results.

Click an evaluation item that requires governance.

In the Evaluation Details panel, review the details and solutions, then click Manual Governance to perform governance in the console.
