Import resources

Use the feature provided by CMH to manually import source resources to the CMH system by uploading an Excel file. For more information, see Manually import resource information.

Create a migration plan

Go to the Create migration plan page, select IDC Migration Across Cloud from the Migration plan Template drop-down list, select the destination region and zone, and then select the resources that you imported to create a migration plan. For more information, see Create a migration plan.

Import the migration source by using the SMC console

Import the information about the migration source by using the Server Migration Center (SMC) console. For more information, see Import the information about a migration source by using the SMC console.

Create a migration task by using an image

Select the instances that you want to migrate to an image, click Create resource migration, and then click Migrate to Image.

In the Create resource migration dialog box, confirm the migration information, configure the Data Transfer Network Mode parameter, and then click Submit. Wait until the migration task is complete. For more information about how to use a scheduling group to schedule a migration task, see Dispatch Center.

Create resources

After the migration is complete, choose Preparation > Create resources in the left-side navigation pane. On the Create resources page, find the migration plan that you created and click its name to go the plan details page. In the Mapping details section, select an instance and click Batch configuration. In the Modify configuration panel, you can view that the image to which the instance is migrated is displayed in the image field. You can select another image based on your business requirements.

After the configurations are complete, select the instances that you want to create destination resources and click Batch create resources. For more information, see Create a resource.
