You can select a preset template in the CloudMonitor console to create a dashboard. After you create a dashboard, you can change metrics and modify monitoring charts based on your business requirements.
Prerequisites
A namespace is created. For more information, see Create a namespace.
Limits
Only Alibaba Cloud services are supported, and each namespace can store the metrics of only one Alibaba Cloud service.
Background information
After a system preset dashboard is created, the metrics in the desired template are automatically imported. A metric import task for the Alibaba Cloud service is automatically created on the Alibaba Cloud Service Metrics tab of the namespace. If you have created a metric import task for the Alibaba Cloud service before you create a dashboard by using the desired template, the monitoring data is automatically merged. You can view the monitoring data on the dashboard only after the metrics are imported into the namespace.
Procedure
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Dashboards page, click Create Dashboard in the upper-left corner.
On the System Preset Dashboard tab, click the
icon in the upper-right corner of the desired template and select the namespace. Click OK.
In the Tips message, click Confirm.
NoteWhen you create a dashboard, Hybrid Cloud Monitoring automatically imports the required metrics. Related fees are incurred. For more information, see Billing of the dashboard feature.
In the Tips message, click Confirm.
The dashboard is created. Wait a few seconds until the data is updated. On the Dashboards tab, find the dashboard that you want to view and click View in the Actions column.
