After a CloudBox instance is activated, the CloudBox instance corresponds to a zone. CloudBox is deployed in your specified locations and not in the data centers of Alibaba Cloud. In this case, you must associate your CloudBox instances with an Alibaba Cloud region. This way, CloudBox can communicate with instances that are located at multiple zones in the Alibaba Cloud region over the internal network of the CloudBox instances. To increase your access speed, we recommend that you associate your CloudBox instances with the closest region.
Usage notes
After you associate a CloudBox instance with a region, you cannot change the region.
CloudBox instances that are located in different regions cannot communicate with each other over the internal network.
