Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) is integrated with CloudMonitor. This topic describes how to view the monitoring data of a bandwidth plan, such as the peak bandwidth, bandwidth usage, average bandwidth, and average bandwidth usage. This topic also describes how to create a threshold-triggered alert rule for a bandwidth plan. This way, you are notified of bandwidth anomalies and can manage the anomalies at the earliest opportunity to prevent service errors caused by insufficient bandwidth resources.
View the monitoring data of bandwidth plans
Log on to the CEN console.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the CEN instance with which the bandwidth plan that you want to manage is associated.
On the CEN details page, choose Basic Settings and find the bandwidth plan.
Click the
icon in the Monitoring column to view the monitoring data of the bandwidth plan. The monitoring data within the last hour is displayed by default. Monitoring data is collected every 1 minute by default.
You can query monitoring data within the last 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days, or a custom time period. You can also set the Interval parameter to query monitoring data that is collected at a specified interval.
Each data entry is the average value within a minute.
To monitor the peak bandwidth, the system collects a bandwidth value every 6 seconds. A total of 10 bandwidth values are collected in each minute. The largest value is used as the peak bandwidth value in the minute.
NoteBandwidth monitoring data shows traffic fluctuations within seconds.
The average value within a minute is used as the average bandwidth value within the minute.
Monitoring data can be automatically updated.
On the top of the Charts tab, turn on Auto Refresh to enable the system to automatically update the monitoring data every minute.

This monitoring metric consists of two items:
Rate of Outbound Bandwidth: the peak bandwidth of the bandwidth plan. Unit: bit/s.
Average Rate of Outbound Bandwidth: the average bandwidth that is consumed in the bandwidth plan. Unit: bit/s.
CENBandwidthPackagePeakBandwidthUtilization
This monitoring metric consists of two items:
Usage of Outbound Bandwidth: the percentage of the peak bandwidth to the maximum bandwidth of the bandwidth plan.
Average Usage of Outbound Bandwidth: the percentage of the average bandwidth that is consumed in the bandwidth plan.

The metrics InternetOutRateByConnectionArea and InternetOutRatePercentByConnectionArea are deprecated.
Create a threshold-based alert rule for a bandwidth plan
We recommend that you create a threshold-based alert rule for your bandwidth plan. When the alert rule is triggered, you are notified of bandwidth anomalies and can manage the anomalies at the earliest opportunity.
Log on to the CEN console.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the CEN instance with which the bandwidth plan that you want to manage is associated.
On the CEN details page, choose Basic Settings and find the bandwidth plan.
Click Set Alert in the Monitoring column. You are redirected to the CloudMonitor console.
In the Config Rule Description panel, configure the parameters and click OK.

Threshold and Alert Level
Configure the alert conditions, alert threshold, and alert level of the alert rule.
Chart Preview
The monitoring data of the selected metric is displayed in the chart.
In the Create Alert Rule panel, verify that the associated resources and rule descriptions are correct, add an alert contact group, and then click Confirm.
