Tracking and audit of backup activities and policy execution help audit enterprise compliance and collect evidences to meet security and compliance requirements for enterprises. This topic describes the audit report feature of Cloud Backup. You can use the feature to check the execution status of backup jobs in different regions.
What is an audit report?
Cloud Backup provides the audit report feature to generate reports for backup jobs. You can specify the start time of backup jobs and specify the data source type, data source ID, job status, backup policy ID, and backup account. Cloud Backup generates the corresponding reports for you to download. You are not charged for using this feature.
A report records details such as the backup job ID, status, start time, end time, number of backup files, and backup policy ID for each data source.
Reports are valid for 90 days. If a report expires, you must regenerate the report.
A report contains the details about all backup jobs that belong to the logon account and the accounts managed by the logon account. You can export a backup job report that contains all backup data sources.
Real-time backup jobs and statistical charts support only the following data sources: Elastic Compute Service (ECS) files, Object Storage Service (OSS) buckets, Alibaba Cloud NAS, on-premises files, local NAS, Cloud Parallel File Storage (CPFS), Tablestore, Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) clusters, and ECS instances.
Backup jobs of the following data sources are not displayed: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, virtual machines (VMs), and SAP HANA. To export related data, you can select the corresponding data source in the Export Backup Job Report dialog box.
The real-time status of backup jobs is displayed in distribution charts and pie charts.
You can download only the reports in the current region. If you want to download reports in another region, switch to the region in the top navigation bar.
Download audit reports
Log on to the Cloud Backup console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the top navigation bar of the Audit Report page, select the region where the reports are stored, such as China (Hangzhou).
On the Backup Jobs tab, specify the start time of backup jobs. Then, specify the data source type, data source ID, job status, backup policy ID, or backup account and click Search to filter backup jobs. If you do not specify filter conditions, all records are queried.

The following table describes the parameters.
Parameter
Description
Backup Start Time
You can query backup jobs within one day, one week, one month, three months, six months, or one year. You can also specify a custom time range within one year.
Source Type
Select a data source type. Backup jobs of the following data sources are supported: ECS files, OSS buckets, Alibaba Cloud NAS, on-premises files, local NAS, CPFS, Tablestore, ACK clusters, and ECS instances.
Data Source ID
This parameter is valid only after you select a single data source type and enter the data source ID.
NoteIf Source Type is not specified or two or more data source types are selected, the value entered in Data Source ID does not take effect.
Job Status
Select a job status. Job statuses include Completed, Partially Completed, Failed, Canceled, Running, and Expired.
Backup Policy ID
Select a backup policy ID. You can obtain backup policy IDs on the Policy Center page.
Backup Account
Specify a backup account.
On the Backup Jobs tab, click Export Backup Job Report, and confirm the operation as prompted.
ImportantBackup jobs of the following data sources are not displayed: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, VMs, and SAP HANA. To export related data, you can select the corresponding data source types from the More Data Source Types drop-down list in the Export Backup Job Report dialog box.
If the previous backup job report is still being exported, you cannot create a new report export job. Wait until the previous export job is completed.

Go to the Report Management tab. Click the link of the report file name or click Download in the Actions column to download the report.
