This topic describes the fees for storage plans for ApsaraDB for ClickHouse Enterprise Edition and explains how to purchase and view them.
The fees described in this topic are for reference only. The actual fees displayed in the console apply.
Storage plan fees
A storage plan can be used to offset the storage resource usage of Enterprise Edition clusters under your Alibaba Cloud account. The following limits apply.
Regions: China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Shenzhen), Singapore, and US (Virginia).
Storage class: OSS.
Unit price of storage resources:
Billing method | Unit price of storage resources |
Storage plan (subscription) | USD 0.0173/GB/month |
Storage plan offset factors
Storage plans have different offset factors for different regions. Therefore, the deductible capacity of a resource plan also varies based on the region of the instance. For example, for a 100 GB storage plan, the following table shows the storage resource capacity that can be offset per hour during its validity period.
Region | Zone | Offset factor | Actual storage resource capacity that can be offset per hour by a 100 GB storage plan |
Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen | Single zone | 1.00 | 100.00 GB |
Multi-zone | 1.34 | 74.63 GB (100 GB / 1.25)
China (Hong Kong), Japan (Tokyo), Germany (Frankfurt) | Single zone | 1.00 | 100.00 GB |
Multi-zone deployment not supported | N/A | N/A
Singapore | Single zone | 1.00 | 100.00 GB |
Multi-zone | 1.17 | 85.47 GB (100 GB/1.17)
US (Virginia) | Single zone | 0.94 | 106.38 GB (100 GB/0.94) |
Multi-zone deployment not supported | N/A | N/A |
Example
Deductible amount of a resource plan = Actual storage usage of the instance × Offset factor of the instance's region.
For example, assume you purchase a 100 GB storage plan and have a single-zone Enterprise instance in Singapore, a single-zone Enterprise instance in the US, and a multi-zone Enterprise instance in Hangzhou. The storage resource consumption of these instances can be offset by the same storage plan. If the Singapore instance uses 12 GB of storage resources for 1 hour, this offsets 12 GB × 1 H × 1.00 = 12 GB·h from the storage plan. If the US instance uses 10 GB of storage resources for 1 hour, this offsets 10 GB × 1 H × 0.94 = 9.4 GB·h from the storage plan. If the Hangzhou instance uses 16 GB of storage resources for 1 hour, this offsets 16 GB × 1 H × 1.34 = 21.44 GB·h from the storage plan. At the end of the hour, the total offset amount is 12 GB·h + 9.4 GB·h + 21.44 GB·h = 42.84 GB·h. Because the total offset amount is within the capacity of the purchased storage plan, no extra fees are incurred.
Purchase a storage plan
Storage plans are non-refundable. Before you purchase a plan, estimate your resource usage to avoid waste. If your usage exceeds the plan's capacity, you are charged for the excess usage at the pay-as-you-go rate.
