ApsaraDB for ClickHouse:Renewal

Last Updated:Oct 13, 2023

You can renew a subscription cluster to extend the subscription period. The fees generated after renewals are charged the same way as a newly purchased cluster. Pay-as-you-go clusters are billed based on the actual usage and do not expire. You do not need to renew pay-as-you-go clusters. You need only to make sure that you have sufficient balance in your Alibaba Cloud account.

Precautions

  • To prevent service interruptions when a subscription cluster expires and is not renewed within the specified period of time, we recommend that you enable auto-renewal.

  • Before renewal, make sure that your account has no unpaid renewal orders for the cluster whose subscription period you want to extend.

    Note

You can log on to the Billing Management console and choose Cost Management>Orders to complete the payment or cancel the order.

  • If you manually renew a cluster before the auto-renewal payment deduction, the subscription period is extended and a new expiration date is generated for this cluster. In this case, the system automatically renews the cluster before the new expiration date.

  • After you enable auto-renewal, the configuration takes effect the next day. If your cluster expires the next day, you must manually renew the cluster to prevent service interruptions.

  • Pay-as-you-go clusters do not expire. You do not need to renew pay-as-you-go clusters.
