Viber billing components

1. Monthly fee

A flat rate of USD 197 per month, regardless of country or region.

  • If your message fees are greater than the monthly fee, the monthly fee is waived, and you are charged only for the message fees.

  • If your message fees are less than the monthly fee, you are charged the monthly fee.

For example:

  • If your actual Viber message fees for a calendar month are USD 100, which is less than the monthly fee of USD 197, you will be charged USD 197.

  • If your actual Viber message fees for a calendar month are USD 200, which is greater than the monthly fee of USD 197, you are charged USD 200.

2. Message fees

Viber message fees vary by country, region, and message type. Fees also differ between general and special industries. If you are in a special industry, contact your account manager before you apply to confirm the monthly fee and the fees for each message type in your destination countries. For general industries, see Viber message sending fees.

3. Chat App Message Service platform fee

The Chat App Message Service platform fee is USD 0.005 per message or session, regardless of country or region.

For example, the local rate for sending a marketing message to the Philippines for a general industry is USD 0.0046 per message. After a successful delivery, the total cost is the sum of the Viber message fee and the platform service fee: USD 0.0046 + USD 0.005 = USD 0.0096.
