Chat App Message Service:Template Design

This topic describes how to manage Email templates, including creating, designing, editing, and deleting templates.

Prerequisites

Create a template

  1. On the Channel Management page, click the Channel ID.

  2. Go to the Template Design page. Click Add. In the dialog box, you can fill in the settings as needed. After completing the settings, click OK to successfully create the template.

    Note
    • Sender addresses of the Batch Emails type can only be used with marketing templates.

    • You can use a trigger-based sender address to create and send transactional and identity verification email templates.

After the template is created, the edit page opens automatically. You can then proceed to design the template.

Design the template

Follow these steps to design the new template.

  1. Based on the template type, design the template content as prompted.

    Email Subject: The title of the email that users receive.

    Sender Name: The name of the sender that is displayed when users receive the email.

    Note
    • To use variables, click Insert Variable.

    • To add images, click Add Image. You can use online images or images from the Material Library.

  2. After you complete the design, click Save and then click the Submit button.

Delete the template

Follow these steps to delete a template.

  1. On the Channel Management page, click the Channel ID.

  2. Go to the Template Design page. Locate the template that you want to delete. Click Delete.

  3. In the dialog box, click OK to delete the template.
