You can migrate a phone number from another Business Solution Provider (BSP) to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) in the Chat App Message Service console. The migrated number retains its display name, quality rating, messaging limits, Official Business Account (OBA) status, and approved message templates.
Prerequisites
Alibaba Cloud account registration and enterprise identity verification have been completed.

A WhatsApp channel is created. For more information, see WhatsApp channels.

A WABA is created and bound to the channel, and the WABA is approved by WhatsApp. For more information, see Register a WABA and manage phone numbers.
Background
Phone number migration moves a phone number registered with another BSP to Alibaba Cloud. After migration, the phone number retains its original display name, quality rating, messaging limits, OBA status, and any previously approved High-Quality Message Templates.
Procedure
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.

In the left navigation pane, click Channel Management.

On the Channel Management page, find the WhatsApp channel that you want to manage and click its Channel ID or Manage.

In the left navigation pane, choose WABA Management, and then click WABA Registration and Binding.

Log on to your Facebook account.
ImportantYou do not need to create a new account if you have one.

After you log on to your Facebook account, click Get Started.

On the screen to create or select your Meta and WhatsApp business accounts, choose the Meta Business Account associated with the number you want to migrate, and then click Continue.

Create a new WABA and click Continue.

After the WABA registration is complete, close the embedded signup page.

Go to Meta Business Settings to verify that business verification and WABA review are complete and that a payment method is set.

On the WABA Management page, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the remaining steps.

After the migration is complete, if your account is an OBA or you previously enabled Two-Step Verification, go to Meta Business Manager to re-enable these features to keep your account secure and maintain its OBA status.
