1. Introduction of Distribution Relationships
Distributor partner could invite Tier2 reseller and Enduser.
Reseller could invite Enduser.
Agency could invite Enduser.
The same partner can have multiple Tier 1 partner accounts at the same time.
Channel partner has 2 types bussiness type: Reseller Business Type and Agency Businesses Type. The reseller business type includes distributor type partner role and reseller type partner role. One partner company could possess two channel partner bussiness types but for each bussiness type just one type partner role.
Tier1 Distributor, Tier1 Reseller, Tier1 Agency, Tier2 Reseller and Company Master UID can access to the ACPN platform.
Company Master UID:
The first completed Alibaba Cloud enterprise vertification account of an enterprise is the enterprise administrator account of the enterprise (there is one and only one).
This account represents the enterprise to complete the process of partner onboarding, signing contracts with Alibaba Cloud and other applications.
After completing the channel partner onboarding, this account will become the partner's enterprise administrator account, and this account can manage the partner contract information in the ACPN platform.
2. How to establish distibution relationships
For new customer, please refer to the content about Customer Management.
For customers' create and invitate, the customer should be a new customer, which means the customer does not have an account that has already completed registration on Alibaba Cloud home page; stock historical customers need to be handled in accordance with [Change Distribution Relationships].
3. How to change distibution relationships
If there is a need to change the distribution relationship for an account that already exists, please contact the Business Manager; describe the specific reason, provide the relevant account UID information; the BD will submit an internal application, and the distribution relationship will be changed successfully after it is approved.
During the period of change of distribution relationship, the account of the changed relationship and its RAM accounts are unable to log in to the official website temporarily;
Normal use of instances will not be affected during the change of distribution relationship;
After the change of distribution relationship, there may be consequences such as change of settlement relationship, change of payment method, change of available amount, change of the shutdown policy, voiding of original coupons, and inability to refund subscription instances. Please evaluate carefully before making the decision.
