Chat App Message Service:Send messages

Send messages to recipients through the Chat App Message Service console.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.

  2. In the left navigation pane, click Channel Management.

  3. On the Channel Management page, click a Channel ID or click Manage in the Actions column.

  4. On the page that appears, click Message Sending in the left navigation pane.

  5. Configure the following parameters.

    Required parameters:

    Parameter

    Description

    Language

    Select the message language.

    Send Message

    Select the approved message template.

    Send Account

    Select the sending account.

    Send Type

    Select Timing Send or Immediately.

    • Timing Send: Schedule the message for a specific time.

    • Immediately: Send the message now.

    Fallback Strategy

    Select an SMS fallback policy and enter the SMS content.

    • None: Fallback is not required.

    • Select an existing fallback policy.

    Note
    • To configure a fallback policy, first enable SMS service on the Service settings page. If SMS service is not enabled, you cannot configure a fallback policy.

    • A fallback is triggered when a fallback policy is configured and a message is not delivered or fails to be sent. This can occur when the message template is deleted or the message parameters fail verification.

    Import Method

    Select how to import recipient phone numbers.

    • Import Phone Number Group

      Click Add Phone Number to add recipient phone numbers.

    • Upload Excel File

      1. Click Download Template and fill in recipient phone numbers using the template.

      2. Click Upload File to upload the completed file.

      3. Import Group: Select an audience group.

    Note
    • Download Template is available only after you select a message template.

    • If the message template contains variables, use Upload Excel File to import recipient phone numbers. Do not modify the file header, or variable parameters cannot be recognized.

  6. Click Send.
