Cloud Architect Design Tools (CADT) verifies the feasibility of your application architecture, including resource specifications and relationships among resources.
Resource verification
CADT validates your resource configurations and checks resource availability based on the architecture diagram. In the resource verification dialog box, a table lists the cloud resources to be verified, including security groups (sg2 and sg1), a vSwitch (vswitch), a VPC (vpc2-hz), and an EIP (eip1-hz). The region for all resources is China (Hangzhou), and the verification result for all resources is Success. The status at the bottom of the page is Verification successful. Click Next: Pricing List.
Price inquiry
Query product prices based on the architecture diagram to calculate the total cost of your architecture. CADT supports multiple billing methods and durations, such as subscription and pay-as-you-go. The pricing list dialog box has three tabs at the top: Free, subscription, and pay-as-you-go. The Resource cost breakdown area displays a pie chart showing that compute resources account for 90% (CNY 207) and network resources account for 10% (CNY 23), for a total resource budget of CNY 230. The pricing list shows two resource items: eip_1 (EIP, China (Hangzhou), BGP, 1 month) and ecs (ECS, China (Hangzhou), ecs.c6.large, 1 month). The status at the bottom is Pricing successful. Click View Report or Next: Confirm Order.
Resource deployment
Deploy all configured resources with a single click. If a deployment fails, the system automatically releases the resources. In the Resource deployment status dialog box, the resource list shows the five created cloud resources: a VPC, a vSwitch (vswitch), an EIP, an ECS instance, and a security group (security.group). The source for all is 'New purchase', and the status is 'Running'. A message on the page reads: "Deployment in progress. Do not perform any operations. Please wait..." If your architecture includes database or big data products, the deployment may take longer. Visit the database console to view the detailed creation progress.
