Managed Service for Grafana allows you to create backups for dashboards, data sources, organizations, and accounts in a workspace.
Prerequisite
You are using Managed Service for Grafana Pro or Advanced Edition. If you are using the Developer Edition, first update to the Pro or Advanced Edition.
Go to the Data Backup page
Log on to the ARMS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
On the Workspace Management page, click the ID of the workspace that you want to manage.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Create a backup
Back up dashboard data or parameters based on your business requirements. Each workspace can have a maximum of three backups for each of the following types:
On the Dashboard Data Backup tab page, you can back up information such as dashboards, data sources, organizations, and accounts in your workspace.
On the Configure Parameter Backup tab page, you can back up parameters that you customized on the Parameter Settings page.
Procedure
On the Dashboard Data Backup or Configure Parameter Backup tab page, click Create Backup.
In the dialog box that appears, set Backup Name and click OK.
Then, you can view the corresponding backup data on the Dashboard Data Backup or Configure Parameter Backup tab page.
Restore a backup
Before the restoration, back up the data of the current workspace.
On the Dashboard Data Backup or Configure Parameter Backup tab page, click Restore next to your desired backup.
In the dialog box that appears, click Restore. Data restoration may take about 5 minutes.
