Application Real-Time Monitoring Service:Alert rules

Last Updated:Jun 03, 2026

Application Monitoring in Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) lets you create alert rules with static or dynamic thresholds. When an alert triggers, notifications are sent to the contacts or DingTalk group chats you specify.

ARMS supports two types of alert rules:

  • Static threshold: Triggers an alert when a metric crosses a fixed value you define. Use this when your acceptable metric range is predictable and stable.

  • Dynamic threshold: Triggers an alert when a metric deviates from its expected behavior, calculated automatically from historical patterns. Use this for metrics with natural fluctuations — such as traffic spikes around business hours — where a fixed threshold would generate too many false positives.
