Application Real-Time Monitoring Service:Manage alert rules

On the Alert Rules page, you can start, stop, edit, delete, and view the details of an alert rule. You can also send a test alert to check whether the alert rule takes effect.

  1. Log on to the ARMS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application Monitoring eBPF > Application List Alert Rules.

  2. On the Application Real-time Monitoring eBPF Alert Rules page, you can filter alert rules by metric type, application name, tag, or rule name. You can also search for alert rules by keyword in the search box.

  3. Find the alert rule that you want to manage and perform the following operations by using the Actions column based on your business requirements:

    • To modify an alert rule, click Edit. On the Edit alerts page, modify the alert rule and click Save.

    • To delete an alert rule, click Delete. In the Confirm message, click OK.

    • To enable an alert rule, click Start. In the Confirm message, click OK.

    • To disable an alert rule, click Stop. In the Confirm message, click OK.

    • To replicate an alert rule, click Copy. A copy of the alert rule is generated and displayed on the Application Monitoring Alert Rules page.

    • To test whether the alert rule can generate alert events and send alert notifications, click Test and send test alerts as prompted.

    • To view the details of an alert event, click Alert History. On the Alert Event Analysis page, view the related records. For more information, see Alert event analysis.

  4. At the bottom of the page, you can start, stop, and delete multiple alert rules at a time. You can also use the batch export feature to copy multiple alert rules, and then use the batch import feature to create multiple alert rules under the current account or another account.
