ApsaraVideo Live allows you to ingest and pull streams over Secure Reliable Transport (SRT). Compared with RTMP, SRT has higher stability and lower latency. This topic describes how to configure stream ingest and regular stream puling over SRT.

Prerequisites: The ingest and streaming domain names are configured and associated. For more information, see Getting Started.

Note: If you configure stream ingest and regular stream puling over SRT, the streaming protocol can be RTMP, FLV, HLS, or RTS. SRT playback is not supported.

Configure stream ingest over SRT

  1. Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the ApsaraVideo Live console, click Domains to go to the Domain Management page.
  3. Find the ingest or streaming domain name that you want to configure and click Domain Settings in the Actions column. 001
  4. Choose Stream Management > Basic Settings.
  5. On the Stream Ingest Information tab, turn on SRT Protocol. By default, the switch is turned off. 002

Configure regular stream pulling

For stream pulling over SRT, only regular streaming pulling is supported. For more information, see Configure regular stream pulling.
