By leveraging the capabilities of ApsaraVideo Live, you can relay a live stream to a third party, such as a third-party social platform, from a live center. This can help you distribute content to multiple platforms at the same time. This topic describes how to configure the live center stream relay feature in the ApsaraVideo Live console.
Usage notes
- By default, a stream can be relayed to up to 200 destination URLs from a live center. If the limit is reached, you can add no more templates. To increase the quota, submit a ticket.
- Only live streams over Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) and Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) can be relayed from a live center.
- After you enable the live center stream relay feature, you are charged stream relay fees. For more information, see Billing of live center stream relay.
Procedure
- Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Domains to go to the Domain Management page.
- Find the streaming domain that you want to configure and click Domain Settings.
- Click .
- Click Add, and configure a live center stream relay template.
The following table describes the parameters for a live center stream relay template.
Operation Description AppName The name of the application to which the live stream belongs. The value of this parameter must be the same as the application name specified in the ingest URL. Otherwise, the configuration does not take effect. StreamName The name of the live stream. The value of this parameter must be the same as the live stream name specified in the ingest URL. Otherwise, the configuration does not take effect. Destination URL The URL used by the third party. You can add only one destination URL in a template. If you have more than one destination URLs, create more templates. The protocol that the destination URL uses must be the same as the protocol of the live stream. Only destination URLs over RTMP and SRT are supported.
Start Time/End Time The start time and end time of stream relay. Stream relay stops when the end time is reached. The interval between the start time and the end time must be within seven days.
- Click OK to complete the configuration.
- Optional: In the list of live center stream relay templates, find the template that you want to modify, and click Change. You can modify the destination URL and the start time and end time.
