Generate ingest and streaming URLs - ApsaraVideo Live - Alibaba Cloud Documentation Center

The URL generator in the ApsaraVideo Live console creates authenticated ingest and streaming URLs for your live streams. Use these URLs with the following tools:

Ingest URLs: Push SDKs or third-party software such as OBS.
Streaming URLs: Player SDKs or third-party software such as VLC. Supported types include live streaming URLs, transcoded streaming URLs, and delayed streaming URLs.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure that you have:

An ingest domain and a streaming domain added to ApsaraVideo Live. See Add an accelerated domain name
The ingest domain and streaming domain associated with each other. See Associate streaming domains and ingest domains

Generate URLs

Log on to the ApsaraVideo Live console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Toolbox > URL Generator.

On the Live URL Generator page, configure the following parameters.

Parameter	Description
Streaming Domain	Select a streaming domain from the drop-down list.
Authentication	The authentication method and validity period for URL signing. After you select a streaming domain, authentication information is displayed for both the streaming domain and the associated ingest domain. To change the validity period, go to Access Control in the domain settings. For more information, see URL signing configuration.
Ingest Domain	Automatically populated with the ingest domain associated with the selected streaming domain.
AppName	A custom value that identifies a live streaming application or business scenario.
StreamName	A custom value that identifies a unique live stream.
Transcoding Template	(Optional) Select a transcoding template to generate transcoded streaming URLs. If no template is selected, the generated streaming URLs use the original quality. Transcoding templates are configured through the live stream transcoding feature. After you select a streaming domain, enter the AppName that matches your transcoding configuration to load the available templates.

Click Generate.
