This topic describes how to transcode an input file in the ApsaraVideo Media Processing (MPS) console.

Procedure

  1. Go to the MPS console.

    Log on to the MPS console.

  2. Add buckets and create Object Storage Service (OSS) storage paths.

    In the left-side navigation pane, choose Workflows > Media Buckets. On the page that appears, configure Input Buckets and Output Buckets. For more information, see Add media buckets.

  3. Configure a pipeline.

    In the left-side navigation pane, choose Global Settings > Pipelines. For more information, see Activate or pause an MPS queue.

  4. Create a transcoding task.
    In the left-side navigation pane, choose Tasks. On the Tasks page, click Create Task. For more information, see Job management.
    Note In this example, a transcoding task is created. You can also create other types of tasks by following the same procedure. For more information about how to create other types of tasks, see Create an intelligent thumbnail task, Create a content moderation task, and Create a video DNA task.
  5. View task results.

    In the left-side navigation pane, click Tasks. On the Tasks page, click the Encode tab. You can view the transcoding status and details of the task.
