The audio coding and decoding configuration of MPS supports the following five profiles:
MPEG-4 AAC LC (default)
MPEG-4 HE-AAC (SBR)
MPEG-4 HE-AAC v2 (SBR+PS)
MPEG-4 AAC LD
MPEG-4 AAC ELD
Compatibility: LC-AAC > HE-AAC > HE-AAC v2
Compression rate: HE-AAC v2 > HE-AAC > LC-AAC
LD and ELD are mainly applicable to rapid coding scenarios such as radio broadcast.
SBR: Spectral Band Replication. SBR segments the frequency spectrum, and the low-frequency band is coded independently to save the main audio content, and the high-frequency band is amplified and coded independently to save the soundquality.
PS: Parametric Stereo. PS saves all the information of a sound track, and uses only a few bytes to describe its difference in parameters from another sound track.
