ApsaraDB for Redis:Does ApsaraDB for Redis support Global Distributed Cache?

Last Updated:Mar 29, 2024

ApsaraDB for Redis Enhanced Edition (Tair) DRAM-based instances can be created as Global Distributed Cache instances.

You can use Global Distributed Cache instances to address high latency issues that may arise during cross-region or long-distance access. A Global Distributed Cache instance can consist of up to three child instances. Data is automatically synchronized among child instances in real time. This feature can help reduce access latency and improve the responsiveness of applications while also implementing geo-disaster recovery.

You only need to use ApsaraDB for Redis Enhanced Edition (Tair) DRAM-based instances to take advantage of this feature without incurring additional charges. For more information, see Overview.
