ApsaraDB for OceanBase:Tenant parameter management

This topic describes how to view the parameters and parameter modification history of a tenant and how to modify the parameters.

View parameters

  1. Click the target cluster instance in the Instances list to go to the Cluster Instance Workspace page.

  2. Click Tenant Management and then click the name of the target tenant in the Tenants list to go to the Tenant Workspace page.

  3. Click Parameter Management to go to the Parameters page.

  4. The Parameters list contains the following columns: Parameter Name, Current Value, Default Value, Effective upon Restart, and Valid Values. You can enter a parameter in the search box and click the search icon to view details of the parameter.1

  5. Click Modify Parameter in the upper-right corner and modify the values in the Current Value column. For the parameters that can take multiple values, such as the sql_mode paramenter of MySQL tenant, multiple values can be selected at the same time.2

  6. After the modification, click Submit to submit the modification. To restore the default settings, click Revoke All.3

View the modification history

  1. Click the target cluster instance in the Instances list to go to the Cluster Instance Workspace page.

  2. Click the name of the target tenant in the Tenants list to go to the Tenant Details page.

  3. Click Parameter Management to go to the Parameters page. Then, click the Change History tab.

  4. Specify the time range in the upper-right corner. For example, you can set the time range to the last three months. Then, click OK.1

  5. The change history list contains the following columns: Parameter Name, Previous Parameter Value, New Parameter Value, Effective Status, Modified At, and Effective From. The valid values for the Status column include Yes, Taking Effect, and Waiting for Scheduling.2
