This topic describes the topology modules of an ApsaraDB for MyBase Master-replica Edition instance.
Prerequisites
You have created an ApsaraDB for MyBase Master-replica Edition instance. For more information, see Create an ApsaraDB for MyBase MySQL instance.- Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
- In the upper-left corner of the page, select the target region.
- In the navigation pane on the left, click .
- Find the target instance and in the Actions column, click Details.
- In the navigation pane on the left, click Service Availability to view the instance topology. The following table describes the topology modules.
No. Module Actions 1 Database connection - View the read/write endpoint of the primary instance.
- Request a public endpoint, and edit public and internal endpoints.
2 Primary instance (readable and writable) - Hover over the MySQL icon to view basic information about the primary instance and its host. You can also find options to restart the instance, change its specifications, or delete it.
- Hover over the SLB icon to view or edit the public and internal endpoints of the primary instance.Note By default, a public endpoint is not provided. You can request one manually.
3 Read-only instance - Hover over the MySQL icon to view basic information about the read-only instance and its host. You can also find options to restart the instance, change its specifications, delete it, or perform a switchover.
- Hover over the SLB icon to view or edit the public and internal endpoints of the read-only instance.Note By default, a public endpoint is not provided. You can request one manually.
4 Add read-only instance Create a read-only instance. For instructions, see Create a read-only instance (MySQL). 5 Database proxy (read/write splitting) - Click Enable Proxy to enable the dedicated proxy, which uses a proxy endpoint to implement read/write splitting. For more information, see Enable and configure the database proxy service and Add a database proxy endpoint.
- After you enable the proxy, hover over the Proxy Endpoint section to view the weight distribution for read/write splitting.
