ApsaraDB for MyBase:Create or add a tag

If you have multiple hosts, you can classify and manage the hosts by using tags. This topic describes how to create or add tags for ApsaraDB for MyBase.

Usage notes

  • You can add up to 20 tags to each host. Each tag must have a unique key.
  • If two tags have the same key, the tag that is created later overwrites the earlier tag.
  • Tag information is not shared across regions.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Hosts. Find the host that you want to manage and choose More > Edit Tag in the Actions column.
    Note If no Tag column is displayed in the host list, you can customize the columns to show the Tag column. Then, you can move the pointer over the Tag icon to view tags that are added. You can also click Edit Tag to edit tags.

  4. In the Edit Tag dialog box, use one of the following methods to add a tag.
    • Select an existing tag from the Existing Tags drop-down list.
    • Click Create Tag, specify Tag Key and Tag Value, and then click OK.
      Note
      • Tag Key: required. The key can be up to 128 characters in length and cannot start with aliyun or acs:. The key cannot contain http:// or https://.
      • Tag Value: optional. The value can be up to 128 characters in length and cannot start with aliyun or acs:. The value cannot contain http:// or https://.
  5. Click OK.
