This topic describes how to create a bastion host.

MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL is selected as the engine of your ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated cluster.

Background information

Bastion hosts can be used to perform operation audit, access control, security authentication, and efficient O&M to meet the O&M and management requirements of enterprises. Bastion hosts can apply to financial enterprises and insurance enterprises. These enterprises must establish reliable audit mechanisms to meet the strict security regulations of the industry. You can associate ApsaraDB MyBase hosts in ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated clusters with bastion hosts. For more information about bastion hosts, see What is Bastionhost?.
